Prologue

Disclaimer

This is not a love story which is meant to be pure. It is a story of obsession and and flawed souls.

The characters you will meet are not heroes.

They will make choices that are wrong. They will hurt, manipulate, and cross boundaries.

This story explores dark side of love.

In short the main character is going to be villainous.

If you seek comfort, this may not be for you.

Later don't come to bash the author giving the blame of romanticizing toxicity and all.

......................................

Sanjukta ran for her life.

Her arms wrapped tightly around herself, clutching at her slipping saree, trying to preserve what little dignity she had left.

She is trying to protect herself from the monster behind her.

He isn’t human. He is a beast. He is a merciless creature.

If he found her now… he would definitely end up killing her.

Darkness swallowed the path ahead, yet she didn’t dare slow down.

Her breath came out in broken gasps, her legs are trembling.....but she kept running.

She could not feel his footsteps. Couldn't feel his breath.

But sbe could feel his presence.

It's cold and terrifying. She can feel him chasing her silently like a predator.

“Sanjukta…”

His dark, husky voice slithered into her ears.

She shook her head violently, as if she could escape the sound. She ran faster.

But she couldn’t forget the way he was stabbing kushal to death without a flicker of emotion.

His eyes had been fixed only on her while doing that.

That wasn’t normal. There was something inside him. Something dark. Something… inhuman.

She couldn’t go to the police.

Everyone here worshipped him.

To them, he isn’t a man. He is a god.

Her saree slipped further down her shoulder, but she didn’t stop to fix it.

Survival matters more now than modesty.

Her heartbeat thundered in her ears.

Her vision blurred. She had never been afraid of him before.

But now.....Now she is terrified.

She stumbled...a sharp screech split the air as a car came to a halt inches away from her.

She flinched and fell back, her body hitting the ground hard.

The world spun violently around her.

“Stop hurting yourself, Sanjukta…”

His voice rang again. This time… it laced with disappointment.

As if her pain bothered him a lot.

Her breath hitched. Is she hallucinating? Or… could he actually see her?

Her strength gave out. Her eyes fluttered shut.

“Oh fuck… Sanjukta! Hey—!”

Finally she heard the familiar soothing voic

e.

A faint smile touched her lips.

Her savior had finally come. Now she is safe.

I write about the stories where the male leads are insanely whipped for the female lead. Most of my male leads are morally grey as I have a soft corner such male leads. I like to write the stories in such a way that i and every one who reads them can relate to it. So yeah...if you like such stories then welcome to my profile.
